I am trying to wrap my brain around the theoretical framework behind ISM and its current commercial implementations. I have looked at a few papers discussing theory (Colin Sheppard obviously the biggest contributor in this respect). While helpful, I have yet to find answers to these questions:
1. Are there formulas which give: a) peak brightness relative to regular confocal 1AU, b) xy resolution, and c) z resolution; as a function of NA, wavelength, and applied pinhole size (anything else?)?
2. For the Yokogawa SoRa implementation, how are such formulas altered by: a) optically coupling the pinhole after the "optical reassignment"; b) the intermediate "magnification changer"; and c) objective lens mag?
