An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Image Analyst to join the Centre for Dynamic Imaging (CDI) at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, an internationally recognised Medical Research Institute in Melbourne, Australia.

The CDI provides researchers with access to expertise and cutting-edge resources for live cell and intravital microscopy, including a Zeiss LSM 880 NLO plus Airyscan, Olympus FVMPE-RS, a Leica SP8 with resonant scanner, an Opera Phenix high content screening platform and a Zeiss Z1 Light Sheet Microscope. An essential part of the role will be to provide expert assistance with the archiving, visualisation and processing of large datasets, This will include the development of image analysis pipelines, which are tailored to individual projects. The position would suit someone who is also highly motivated to provide training to researchers on how to use various software packages, which may include the organisation of workshops or development of online tools.
